Sports Activities
Sports play a crucial role in schools and colleges. Participation in various sports activities enables the students to develop their competence level. They also learn the sense of co-operation and co-ordination and also prepare themselves for increasing competition in future life. Likewise, various sports activities were conducted in the academic year 2020-2021. The College encourages and extends all sorts of help to students to participate in college ICT and IUT sports.
The introduction of sports in college curricula made possible the inclusion of a few popular games such as Basketball, Cricket, Athletics, Tennis & Football in ICT. To tap the sports talent & test its worthiness, the college took an important step forward to explore its sportsmen to higher levels of competitive sports. The team was allowed to
participate in ICT. Later on, participation in ICT and representation in the IUT gradually increased and today our college is proud of the teams for their participation in ICT & IUT.
The college ground is spread over an area of 1.75 acres of land and all the programs of ICT practice & coaching are conducted on the college playground. The college provides the facilities for conducting almost all common games such as Kabbadi, Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, and Football. Due to the assistance provided by the college, many college students have shown outstanding performance in university tournaments.
Department of Sports provides facilities for various outdoor as well as indoor games. Outdoor games: Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Athletics, Kabaddi etc.
Indoor games: Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis, Boxing.
